Government Documentation of Wells Fargo Activities Financing Private Prison Industry Compiled in New Website
Enlace, convener of the National Prison Divestment Campaign, has launched a new website that provides public access to U.S. government documentation of Wells Fargo’s activities financing the private prison industry.The website contains unclassified government documents pertaining to the relationships between Wells Fargo & Company, its subsidiary entities, and companies and business organizations engaged in activity related to the incarceration of prisoners, including, but not limited to immigrants.The site is updated as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Federal Reserve, and other federal agencies make documents available.
